This lovely pendant features a paw pint design which has been impressed into a nugget of reclaimed copper. It has a nice weighty feel to it (a little over 4g) and hangs beautifully from a sterling silver curb chain.

How I make your Paw Print Pendant

Each paw print is produced individually me in my studio; there’s no mass production going on here! Firstly I melt down an ingot of copper, onto which I impress the shape using an impression die and a hydraulic press. This could be repeated 2 or 3 times before I’m totally happy with the depth and detail of the print. After that I use my saw to trim the excess material, file the edges and then solder on the bail. The final stage is a nice polish, and voila!
