Reclaimed Copper Shark Tooth Pendant

Rustic shark tooth design pendant made from reclaimed copper, hanging from a leather cord. Each pendant has been individually made by MrMac, and starts life as a melted down nugget of copper. The nuggets are pressed into a shark tooth shaped die using a hydraulic press and trimmed to shape. The oxidised finish really brings out the incredible texture of each impression. The leather cord is adjustable so can be worn as a choker or a longer length pendant.

A note about the “Made by MrMac” Collection

Hi! I’m Paul, often referred to here as MrMac. Later this year I’m doing a four day charity trek in the Saharan Desert, organised through Queen’s Hall Arts Centre in Hexham. I’m funding the trip myself, but also trying to get donations which will go to Queen’s Hall to help improve their accessibility, such as modernising their audio induction loop and custom-made wheelchair ramps.

Clare’s helped me make a few items of jewellery for myself in the past, such as rings and copper pebbles. When Clare bought herself a 20 tonne press, I decided to be a bit more adventurous. This collection started with the shark’s tooth impression pedant, and all the items are slightly less refined than Clare’s usual offerings, perhaps intended for people of a more rugged disposition than the usual LollaMac customer!

Clare is kindly donating all the materials and packaging for this collection, so all the money raised from this will go directly to my fundraising efforts. I hope you like them, and feel free to get in touch if you’d like any variations or have any questions.
