The impression has a wonderfully detailed texture which really brings the image to life. How I make your Bee Imprint Studs

Each bee impression is produced individually me in my studio; there’s no mass production going on here! Firstly I melt down an ingot of sterling silver using the offcuts I keep from other projects. Then I press the shape using an impression die and a hydraulic press. For the larger pieces this could be repeated 4 or 5 times before I’m totally happy with the depth and detail of the print, annealing the metal between each stage. Once I think I’ve got the perfect print, I file away the excess material and smooth the edges then solder a sterling silver ear post to the back. The impression gets a light oxidising to really make the details pop before the whole thing gets a final polish. And voila!

If you wish to return an item please contact me within 14 days of receipt and return it within 30 days of receipt. Return postage will only be refunded if the item is found to be faulty.
